Doodle Tone — Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Doodle Tone app. By using the app you accept them, together with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every App Store app.
What the app does
Doodle Tone lets you draw on a canvas, import or scan a picture, and turn the result into short audio loops you can layer on the mix desk, export and share. An optional cloud sketch agent, run by DeepSeek, suggests tempo, key, mood tags and layer names from your sketch’s colours and your notes. The app is free and has no purchases or subscriptions.
Your drawings and sounds
- You keep all rights to what you draw, scan, write or dictate. We do not claim ownership and we do not receive a copy.
- Only import or scan images you have the right to use, and do not use the app to create or share unlawful, hateful or infringing content.
- The loops are tones generated on your device. You may use your exported mixes for personal and creative projects.
AI suggestions
- Suggestions are produced automatically and may be odd, repetitive or not match what you imagined. Nothing is applied until you choose to use it.
- Using the agent means sending the text described in the Privacy Policy to DeepSeek. Please don’t put personal or sensitive information into notes or scanned pages.
- The agent may be unavailable at times, for example when the service is down or a build is not connected to it. Drawing and mixing still work without it.
Other services
DeepSeek, Apple speech recognition, Photos and the iOS share sheet are provided by their own operators under their own terms. We are not responsible for how they run.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be error-free or always available, or that it will keep your sketches safe. Back up your device if your drawings matter to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.
Changes and ending use
We may update the app and these terms, and will post any change here with a new date. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it, which also removes your local data.
